The piece now allows any accessory that can fit on a rifle to now be mounted on the Mossberg 500, 590, and Maverick 88 Shotguns. Will not fit 500 and 590A1 without mag tube extension (5-shot models will not work) and 590 bayonet lug gets in the way and must be filed on each side. Rail includes a 1" pipe to take the place of the magazine extension tube, if you do not have a 7 shot tube. Not ideal but works.

Warning: Never use red loctite on screws and do not overtighten, it holds very well when they are snugged. Never overtighten the Mag clamp as it may bend the tube or limit the follower movement, causing a loading failure.
